Apex Legends Coming to Steam and Nintendo Switch

Apex Legends is coming to Steam alongside Season 7, launching November 4, 2020.

Game Director on Apex Legends, Chad Grenier, had announced plans to bring Apex Legends to new platforms including Steam and the Nintendo Switch earlier this year at EA Play. Now, we have some news regarding those game updates that players have been asking about.

Apex Legends is officially coming to Steam for PC players as soon as the launch of Season 7 on November 4, 2020. It is to be noted that if you’ve previously been playing on Origin, you can feel free to give it a spin on Steam as your account progression and unlocks will apparently carry over between the two platforms.

To celebrate the big event, Steam players will receive free exclusive Portal and Half-Life inspired gun charms for logging in during Season 7. Here’s a preview of the Steam Release Exclusive Gun Charms.

For those waiting for the official Nintendo Switch launch, it is on its way. However, the developers don’t want to rush anything out just yet to do justice to the game and ensure a great experience. With this said, there is no specified release date as of yet. It is expected that it will come out sometime next year. And with the launch on the Switch, cross-platform play support will come with it.
