Apex Legends: Upcoming Collection Event Leaks, Info & More

A new Apex Legends Collection Event is to be expected very soon, as they usually come halfway through each season. Since Legacy, the ninth Season of Apex Legends, launched back on May 4th, we should already be in the midst if a new event. However due to the ALGS Championship, this likely pushed back some event dates. Now that the ALGS has wrapped up, this brings the question, when is the next event?

Event Date

Well, based on leaks and upcoming patch 9.1 (set to come end of June), the update and event would probably launch on June 29th. However, as of yet, nothing else has been officially announced by Respawn.

Collection Event Details

As with previous Collection Events, new cosmetics and unique content is to be expected. While nothing is confirmed, some leaks point to a Japanese Theme, and possible skins have also been revealed.

According to data miner @GarretLeaks the name for the event in the files is “Japan Legacy” (name may be subject to change), which strongly hints at a Japanese theme. Some potential skins that have appeared include a Fuse Epic skin, a Caustic Rare skin, and a Hemlok skin. The Loot Tick for the event, featured above, has a red and black theme, with golden petals painted on each side.

If the Collection Event does feature a Japanese theme, it would not be the first time Apex Legends has done so. The Season 9 Legacy Battle Pass features a Japanese inspired theme as well, as seen in various cosmetics.

Heirloom

While we don’t know for sure which Legend will get a new heirloom next, according to previous leaks, it is possible that the next one will be for Revenant. Multiple data miners and leakers have mentioned a work-in-progress Revenant Heirloom. It is thought that this heirloom may release during the event.

With the end of June creeping up, announcements for an upcoming event are sure to start soon, if the leaks are true. As for now, we can only wait for more information, leaks, and official announcements from Respawn. So stay tuned!
