Apex Legends: Chinatown Market Postponed

Respawn has announced that the Chinatown Market, set to release today, has been postponed. This is due to the Chinatown Market wanting to rebrand. The Apex Legends x Chinatown Market Collaboration will come at a different time (not yet announced) with a “fresh new look” after the rebrand.

The Chinatown Market is an LA-based streetwear brand (inspired by New York City’s Chinatown neighbourhood) and was established in 2016. Due to recent news, the brand will be deciding on a new name as they “did not consider what the name would mean to communities in Chinatowns across the world” and “need to take ownership” of the mistake. The collab was to feature some new cosmetics for certain Legends such as: Bloodhound, Lifeline, Wraith and Mirage. The teasers for Bloodhound and Lifeline that were announced featured some bright new skins. With The Chinatown Market rebranding, we are unsure what that would mean for the current leaked and confirmed skins. For now, we will just have to wait and see.
